Hartland Hounds beats Dayton Aeros 10-0 as Krystyniak gets hat trick

Paul Krystyniak lifted Hartland Hounds to a 10-0 victory with a hat trick against Dayton Aeros.

Krystyniak notched his first tally 17:06 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:43 into the second and at 14:44 into the second.

Hartland Hounds led 4-0 after the opening frame the first period and maintained a healthy margin after.

Hartland Hounds made Dayton Aeros' goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, finishing with 63 shots and forcing 53 saves. Brandon Price made 32 stops and Vincent Ryckman made 21. Hartland Hounds' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Dayton Aeros power plays. Hartland Hounds was steadier on the defensive front than it has been for much of this season. Hartland Hounds averages 2.4 goals allowed per game. Hartland Hounds surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Hartland Hounds averages 7.2 goals per game.
