Hartland Hounds beats Soo Firehawks 7-3 as Krystyniak gets hat trick

Paul Krystyniak lifted Hartland Hounds to a 7-3 victory with a hat trick against Soo Firehawks.

Krystyniak's first goal came 17:01 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:47 into the second and at 9:44 into the third.

Hartland Hounds forced Soo Firehawks' goalies to work without much rest, taking 34 shots and forcing 27 saves. Brandon Hansen made 14 stops and Keegan McGraw made 13. Hartland Hounds was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 36 penalty minutes.

Hartland Hounds additionally got points from Andre Spisak, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Garrett Cebalt, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Hartland Hounds also got a goal from Max Biggings as well. More assists for Hartland Hounds came via Scott Augustyn, who had one and Jordan Ruterbusch, who had three.
