Bloomington Blaze survives Michigan Ice Dogs comeback, wins 3-2

Michigan Ice Dogs tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Bloomington Blaze would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

Bloomington Blaze took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have Michigan Ice Dogs storm back on a Alexander Stewart goal 14:50 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Michigan Ice Dogs' power play was ineffective against Bloomington Blaze's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Bloomington Blaze excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.

Bloomington Blaze was helped by Tyler Gehrken, who racked up one goal. Gehrken scored 6:30 into the third period to make the score Bloomington Blaze. Parker Michels picked up the assist.
