NWO Grrrowl could not stop Tennyson Chevrolet's Matthew Hopersberger, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-2 win.

Hopersberger's first goal came 21 seconds into the second period. He then added goals at 33 seconds into the second and at 12:26 into the third.

Tennyson Chevrolet led by only one goal at the end of the first period, but put the game away by scoring four goals in the second.

Tennyson Chevrolet's penalty kill excelled, as Tennyson Chevrolet gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

The Tennyson Chevrolet penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled 16 minors and four majors for 72 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 48.0 minutes per game Tennyson Chevrolet had been spending in the box. Tennyson Chevrolet forced NWO Grrrowl's netminders to work without much rest, getting 31 shots and forcing 23 saves. Garrett Avery made 13 stops and Andrew Zuckerman made 10. Tennyson Chevrolet stifled NWO Grrrowl's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Tennyson Chevrolet bested its season scoring average. Tennyson Chevrolet also got points from Zachary Wiacek, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Joseph Matyaszek, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Timothy Muhsman, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Tennyson Chevrolet also got a goal from Jacob Bates as well. In addition, Tennyson Chevrolet received assists from Anthony Davey, Robert Danyo, and Jonathan Hultgren, who contributed one a piece and Ryan Krolikowski, Thomas Emery, and James Stacey Jr, who each chipped in two.
