Hartland Hounds relied on the scoring touch of Matthew Passino, who netted four goals, to beat Michigan Ice Dogs, 4-3.

Passino got on the scoresheet 10:30 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:19 into the first, at 12:30 into the second, and at 15:47 into the third.

Michigan Ice Dogs was unable to stop Hartland Hounds from sending pucks towards the net, and Hartland Hounds eventually piled up 56 shots on goal.

In addition, Hartland Hounds received assists from Cameron Miglia, who had two, Jacob Henrikson, who had three, and Zachary Parrott and Thomas Kerr, who each chipped in one.
