Michigan Ice Dogs falls to Holland River Bandits after surprising comeback

Holland River Bandits climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Michigan Ice Dogs, 5-4.

Holland River Bandits let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Holland River Bandits took a 4-3 advantage on a goal by Tyler Teglia at 3:54 in the third period. Holland River Bandits found itself down 3-1 after Michigan Ice Dogs' Hunter Ledgerwood put the puck home at 13:41 in the second period. After knotting things up at 4-4 on a goal by Robert Speer at 4:32 in the third, Holland River Bandits got the game-winner from Cameron Fisher at 12:14 in the third period.

Teglia had a great game for Holland River Bandits, netting four goals. Teglia notched his first tally 9:47 into the second period. He then added goals at 16:49 into the second and at 18:12 into the second.

Holland River Bandits stifled Michigan Ice Dogs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Holland River Bandits forced Michigan Ice Dogs goalie Andrew Freeman to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.
