Colorado Rampage (mm) falls to Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) after surprising comeback

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) battled back to claim a 3-2 victory over Colorado Rampage (mm).

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) never led in the game until netting the game winner. Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) trailed 2-0 after a goal by Colorado Rampage (mm)'s Austin Shea at 3:38 in the second period. Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Teddy Rotenberger at 6:20 in the third period. Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) scored the game winner at 7:27 in the third period on a goal by Rotenberger.

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) was sparked by Killian Gray, who racked up one goal.

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) also got points from Aaron ONeill, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Rotenberger, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) received assists from Drew Holcombe, who had two and Andrew Kluge and Austin Beaulieu, who each chipped in one.

Colorado Rampage (mm) found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere nine shots against Thunder AAA Hockey (mm)'s defense.

Other players who recorded assists for Colorado Rampage (mm) were Jared Guffey and Garrett Eversole, who contributed one a piece.

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm)'s Jared Schlemmer stopped seven shots out of the nine that he faced. Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Garrett Metcalf rejected 12 shots on goal for Colorado Rampage (mm). Colorado Rampage (mm) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
