Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm) tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but LA Jr Kings (mm) held on for a 4-2 victory.

LA Jr Kings (mm) took a 4-0 lead during the second period, only to have Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm) storm back on a Jake Gerbner goal 14:23 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

LA Jr Kings (mm)'s penalty kill excelled, as LA Jr Kings (mm) gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays.

LA Jr Kings (mm) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

LA Jr Kings (mm) was led by Nick Klishko, who registered one goal and one assist. Klishko scored 1:07 into the second period to make the score 2-0 LA Jr Kings (mm).
