Belle Tire (mm) tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Dallas Stars (mm) would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 2-1.

Dallas Stars (mm) took a 2-0 lead during the second period, only to have Belle Tire (mm) storm back on a Steven Merl goal 12:40 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Dallas Stars (mm)'s penalty kill excelled, as Dallas Stars (mm) gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Dallas Stars (mm) stifled Belle Tire (mm)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
