LA Jr Kings (mm) had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-1 win over Las Vegas Storm (mm).

LA Jr Kings (mm) was sparked by Keanu Yamamoto, who had one goal. Yamamoto scored 3:19 into the first period to make the score 2-1 LA Jr Kings (mm). Ty Comrie assisted on the tally.

LA Jr Kings (mm) made Las Vegas Storm (mm)'s goalies to work in net, getting 51 shots and forcing 44 saves. Bradyn Mensch made 14 stops and Scott Albertino made 30. LA Jr Kings (mm) bested its season scoring average. LA Jr Kings (mm) averages 4.9 goals per game.

LA Jr Kings (mm) also got points from Robert McClellan, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Comrie, who also registered one goal and two assists, Aaron Aragon, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Robert Jackson, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. LA Jr Kings (mm) also got a goal from Nicholas Rivera as well. More assists for LA Jr Kings (mm) came via Keoni Texeira and Brian Williams, who each chipped in one.

Las Vegas Storm (mm) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LA Jr Kings (mm) to score on any of its four power plays. LA Jr Kings (mm)'s defense shut down Las Vegas Storm (mm)'s forwards for much of the game, and Las Vegas Storm (mm) got off only 13 shots during the contest.

Las Vegas Storm (mm) was led by Colton Meekhof, who scored the team's only goal. Meekhof scored 12 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Las Vegas Storm (mm). Alec Mono picked up the assist.
