Holland River Bandits failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and Michigan Ice Dogs shook off a number of penalties to win, 5-2. Michigan Ice Dogs was paced by Nicholas DeGiusti, who tallied one goal. DeGiusti scored on the power play 18:38 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Michigan Ice Dogs.
