NWO Grrrowl excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. NWO Grrrowl kept Dayton Aeros' goalie busy throughout the game, and Chris Lewis made 38 saves on 44 shots. NWO Grrrowl got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
