Boston Advantage (mm) beats Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm) 4-0 as Graham gains shutout

Kenny Graham made 26 saves to complete the shutout and led Boston Advantage (mm) to a 4-0 win against Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm).

Boston Advantage (mm) got the win with help from a great game by Charley Michalowski, who had two goals and one assist. Michalowski scored the first of his two goals at 11:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Boston Advantage (mm). Erik Udahl provided the assist. Michalowski's next tally made the score 4-0 Boston Advantage (mm) with 2:24 left in the second period. Quin Foreman assisted on the tally.

Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm)'s power play was ineffective against Boston Advantage (mm)'s penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Boston Advantage (mm) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm) to score on any of its eight power plays. Boston Advantage (mm) forced Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm) goalie Alex Taylor to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

Boston Advantage (mm) also got points from Foreman, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Boston Advantage (mm) also got a goal from Pat Holway as well. In addition, Boston Advantage (mm) received assists from Thomas Munichiello, who had two and Pat Flynn and Anthony Wyse, who each chipped in one.

Boston Advantage (mm) incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors and had no power play opportunities. Taylor recorded 30 saves for Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm). Philadelphia Jr Flyers (mm) incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
