A goal by Maximilian Forster put Landshut Cannibals up 4-1 in the third period, but Erding Gladiators pulled to within two on Dominik Ochmann's tally 10:45 into the third period. Erding Gladiators' power play was ineffective against Landshut Cannibals' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. Landshut Cannibals' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Erding Gladiators power plays. Landshut Cannibals was helped by Thomas Brandl, who registered one goal. Brandl scored 17:19 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Landshut Cannibals. Jakub Grof provided the assist.
