In a game where neither team could get a cushion, SC Riessersee escaped with a 3-2 victory over EV Füssen.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Jared Ross secured the win for SC Riessersee with a goal in the third period.

SC Riessersee got the win thanks to a great game by Florian Vollmer, who had one goal and two assists. Vollmer scored 3:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 SC Riessersee. Josef Staltmayr picked up the assist.

SC Riessersee put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow EV Füssen to score on any of its five power plays.

Michael Rimbeck also scored for SC Riessersee. Other players who recorded assists for SC Riessersee were Andrew Lord and David Appel, who each chipped in one.

EV Füssen was helped by Eric Nadeau, who tallied one goal. Nadeau scored 15:55 into the second period to make the score 2-1 EV Füssen. Dominik Meisinger assisted on the tally. EV Füssen also got a goal from Valentin Gschmeißner as well. More assists for EV Füssen came via John Gordon, Sebastian Wolsch, and Sascha Golts, who contributed one a piece.

SC Riessersee incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. EV Füssen incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
