DEB U-20 failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and Fischtown Pinguins shook off a number of penalties to win, 3-1.

Fischtown Pinguins was paced by Brendan Cook, who racked up one goal. Cook scored 54 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-1 Fischtown Pinguins. Stanislav Fatyka picked up the assist.

Fischtown Pinguins stifled DEB U-20's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Fischtown Pinguins also got a goal from Marian Dejdar as well. In addition, Fischtown Pinguins received assists from Andrei Teljukin and Mark Kosick, who contributed one a piece.

DEB U-20 was led by Alexander Ackermann, who scored the team's only goal. Ackermann scored 10:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 DEB U-20. Marcel Kurth provided the assist.

Fischtown Pinguins incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. DEB U-20 incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
