CAMBRIDGE survived a determined comeback attempt by NEPEAN on the way to a 3-2 win. CAMBRIDGE made the score 3-1 on a goal by Emma Woods at 11:45 in the third period, and NEPEAN got as close as 3-2 when Cassidy Campeau scored 15:43 into the third period. Woods had two goals to lead CAMBRIDGE to victory. CAMBRIDGE struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 28 penalty minutes for 10 opposing power plays. CAMBRIDGE also got points from Kaileigh Grant (A), who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, CAMBRIDGE received assists from Emma Davidson, Meagan Hart, Amanda McClure, and Alex Makaric, who each chipped in one. NEPEAN also got a goal from Lauren Miller as well. Other players who recorded assists for NEPEAN were Taylor Thurston, Mackenzie Stone, Josiane Pozzebon, and Addi Halladay, who contributed one a piece. CAMBRIDGE's Jenna Sosnoski stopped 24 shots out of the 26 that she faced. CAMBRIDGE registered one goal on two power play opportunities. Kierra Lambertucci made 17 saves for NEPEAN on 20 shots. NEPEAN incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
