AURORA found itself down againt LEASIDE, but battled back to secure to a 3-3 (OT) tie.

AURORA was unable to stop LEASIDE from sending pucks towards the net, and LEASIDE eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. LEASIDE struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 16 penalty minutes for eight opposing power plays.

LEASIDE was helped by Kaitlin Lowy, who finished with two goals. Lowy scored the first of her two goals at 3:33 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Anthea Lasis provided the assist. Lowy's next tally made the score 3-1 LEASIDE with 15:31 left in the second period. Katrina Manoukarakis assisted on the tally. Megan Sullivan also scored for LEASIDE. In addition, LEASIDE received assists from Kristen Lucas, who had one.

AURORA's offense rang up 39 shots on LEASIDE's net.

AURORA was helped by Brianna Veerman(A), who grabbed one goal and one assist. Veerman(A) scored 1:02 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Courtney Brindamour-McClure(A) provided the assist. AURORA also got points from Ashley Rothon, who also had one goal and one assist and Lisa Donachey, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for AURORA came via Alie Brindamour-McClure(A) and Kayla Jardine, who contributed one a piece.

Alex Armstrong rejected 36 shots on goal for LEASIDE. LEASIDE registered two goals on six power play opportunities. Paula Voorheis recorded 38 saves for AURORA. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
