STONEY CREEK got the win thanks to a great game by Sarah Nurse (A), who had two goals and one assist. Nurse (A) scored the first of her two goals at 3:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 STONEY CREEK. Taylor McMahon (PU) assisted on the tally. Nurse (A)'s next tally made the score 3-0 STONEY CREEK with 10:53 left in the third period. McMahon (PU) picked up the assist.

STONEY CREEK put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow NEPEAN to score on any of its four power plays.
