NEPEAN gutted out a close 3-2 win against ETOBICOKE.

NEPEAN gained the winning advantage on a goal by Josiane Pozzebon 15:07 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

NEPEAN was sparked by Pozzebon, who racked up one goal.

NEPEAN stifled ETOBICOKE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. ETOBICOKE was unable to stop NEPEAN from sending pucks towards the net, and NEPEAN eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

Alyssa Baker also scored for NEPEAN. More assists for NEPEAN came via Taylor Thurston, Katryne Villeneuve, Natalie Fraser, and Addi Halladay, who each chipped in one.

ETOBICOKE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four NEPEAN power plays.

ETOBICOKE was helped by Katelyn Turk (A), who had one goal. Turk (A) scored 10:45 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Vanessa Tavares assisted on the tally. ETOBICOKE also got a goal from Emma Dahlgren (C) as well. In addition, ETOBICOKE received assists from Nicole Atkinson and Cara Sayles, who contributed one a piece.

Kierra Lambertucci rejected 17 shots on goal for NEPEAN. NEPEAN incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Keri Martin recorded 30 saves for ETOBICOKE. ETOBICOKE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
