BARRIE gutted out a close 4-2 win against OAKVILLE. BARRIE gained the winning advantage on a goal by Justine Treadwell (C) 1:35 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. BARRIE's penalty kill excelled, as BARRIE gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. BARRIE was led by Treadwell (C), who had one goal. BARRIE stifled OAKVILLE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. BARRIE surpassed its usual scoring output this season. BARRIE has scored at the pace of 1.5 goal per game during the current campaign. BARRIE also got points from Laura McKenzie, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points.
