WATERLOO survived a determined comeback attempt by BLUEWATER on the way to a 2-1 win.

WATERLOO made the score 2-0 on a goal by Amber Sealey at 5:05 in the third period, and BLUEWATER got as close as 2-1 when Taylor Philip scored 6:18 into the third period.

WATERLOO's Stephanie Sluys was a brick wall in net, as she came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. The solid play of Sluys will be reflected in her goals against average, which pre-game was 2.85.
