AURORA and TORONTO skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

Even though AURORA's Jessica Gillham netted two goals and Jacky Normandeau ccontributed two points, AURORA was held to a tie by TORONTO, 3-3 (OT).

AURORA stifled TORONTO's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

AURORA additionally got points from Normandeau, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, AURORA received assists from Caroline DeBruin(A) and Alie Brindamour-McClure(A), who each chipped in one.

TORONTO kept AURORA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Paula Voorheis made 31 saves on 34 shots. TORONTO struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 14 penalty minutes for six opposing power plays.

TORONTO was led by Victoria Andreakos, who grabbed one goal and two assists. Andreakos scored 14:00 into the third period to make the score 3-2 AURORA. Breanne Wilson-Bennett assisted on the tally. TORONTO also got points from Morgan Kelly, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Brooke Webster, who also had one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for TORONTO were Jordan McDonell, who had one.

AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Liberty McKague rejected 18 shots on goal for TORONTO. TORONTO registered zero goals on five power play opportunities.
