TORONTO tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but DURHAM WEST held on for a 2-1 victory. DURHAM WEST made the score 2-0 on a goal by Laura Horwood at 8:54 in the second period, and TORONTO got as close as 2-1 when Morgan Kelly scored 4:17 into the third period. TORONTO puts an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game. TORONTO forced DURHAM WEST goalie Sauve to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. In addition, TORONTO received assists from Jessica Gazzola and Amanda Pantaleo, who contributed one a piece. DURHAM WEST incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Liberty McKague made 12 saves for TORONTO on 14 shots. TORONTO incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
