OAKVILLE tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but WHITBY held on for a 3-2 victory.

A goal by Krista Yip-Chuck put WHITBY up 3-1 in the third period, but OAKVILLE pulled to within one on Kristin Gilmour's tally 17:43 into the third period.
