Behind a great game by Erinn Noseworthy, who had two goals and one assist, SOUTHWEST defeated BRAMPTON, 5-2. Noseworthy found the back of the net 11:45 into the second period to make the score 3-1 SOUTHWEST and again while 19:16 into the third to make the score 5-2 SOUTHWEST.SOUTHWEST's offense rang up 36 shots on BRAMPTON's net. SOUTHWEST surpassed its usual scoring output this season. SOUTHWEST has scored at the pace of 1.7 goal per game during the current campaign. SOUTHWEST also got a goal from Melissa Mayrand as well. More assists for SOUTHWEST came via Laura Monforton, who had three and MacKenzie Berthiaume, Meghan Power, and Jamie Noseworthy, who each chipped in one. BRAMPTON could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game. BRAMPTON was helped by Caitlyn Manning, who tallied one goal. Manning scored 14:16 into the second period to make the score 3-2 SOUTHWEST. Irene Kiroplis picked up the assist. Janet Deane also scored for BRAMPTON. In addition, BRAMPTON received assists from Taylor Sokay and Alessia Pasquariello, who contributed one a piece. Hanna Slater recorded 21 saves for SOUTHWEST. SOUTHWEST incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Brooke Stoddart rejected 31 shots on goal for BRAMPTON. BRAMPTON registered one goal on four power play opportunities.
