DURHAM WEST pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over LEASIDE on a clutch goal by Kennedy Marchment. Marchment was all over the ice for DURHAM WEST, as she registered two goals in the win. Marchment scored at 4:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 DURHAM WEST and again while 2:52 into the fourth to make the score 2-1 DURHAM WEST. DURHAM WEST's Kassidy Sauve was a brick wall in net, as she came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. Sauve managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 2.59 prior to the game. DURHAM WEST put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LEASIDE to score on any of its six power plays. Other players who recorded assists for DURHAM WEST were Dakota Waites, Laura Horwood, and Brittany St. James, who each chipped in one. LEASIDE managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. LEASIDE ended up below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game. LEASIDE was led by Sam Corkum, who scored the team's only goal. Corkum scored 12:44 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Anthea Lasis provided the assist. DURHAM WEST incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Paige Lau recorded 21 saves for LEASIDE.
