STONEY CREEK and CAMBRIDGE skate to 2-2 (OT) tie

Two goals from Sarah Nurse (A) and zero points from Devon Morrison could not prevent STONEY CREEK from drawing with CAMBRIDGE, 2-2 (OT).

STONEY CREEK forced CAMBRIDGE goalie Jenna Sosnoski to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. STONEY CREEK got its opportunities on the power play, but did not convert any of its 11 chances.

Other players who recorded assists for STONEY CREEK were Sydney McKibbon (C), Madison Field, Kristina Kocsis, and Rosie Heffernan, who contributed one a piece.

CAMBRIDGE stifled STONEY CREEK's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. STONEY CREEK's defense shut down CAMBRIDGE's forwards for much of the game, and CAMBRIDGE got off only 11 shots during the contest. CAMBRIDGE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game.

CAMBRIDGE was led by Rebecca Haddaway, who registered two goals. Haddaway scored the first of her two goals at 3:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CAMBRIDGE. Haddaway's next tally made the score 2-1 CAMBRIDGE with 11:02 left in the second period. Amanda McClure assisted on the tally. In addition, CAMBRIDGE received assists from Angela MacDonald, who had one.

Taylor Cook recorded nine saves for STONEY CREEK. STONEY CREEK incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. CAMBRIDGE's Sosnoski stopped 35 shots out of the 37 that she faced. CAMBRIDGE registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
