A stellar performance between the pipes by Brooke Gibson helped BLUEWATER defeat AURORA, 3-1.

BLUEWATER was sparked by Karley Campbell, who tallied one goal. Campbell scored 7:16 into the third period to make the score 2-1 BLUEWATER. Lauren Lefler provided the assist.

BLUEWATER's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five AURORA power plays. BLUEWATER kept AURORA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Paula Voorheis made 43 saves on 46 shots.

Morgan McCann also scored for BLUEWATER. Other players who recorded assists for BLUEWATER were Sydney Dobbin, Brooke Hartwick, Katherine Bailey, and Shailyn Waites, who each chipped in one.

AURORA could not produce up to it normal offensive output. AURORA averages 3.2 goals per game.

AURORA was led by Jessica Gillham, who scored the team's only goal. Gillham scored 13:46 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Jacky Normandeau picked up the assist.

Brooke Gibson made 28 saves for BLUEWATER on 29 shots. BLUEWATER incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
