TORONTO survives WATERLOO comeback, wins 4-3

TORONTO survived a determined comeback attempt by WATERLOO on the way to a 4-3 win.

TORONTO made the score 4-2 on a goal by Morgan Sly at 12:46 in the third period, and WATERLOO got as close as 4-3 when Taylor Weber scored 17:14 into the third period.

WATERLOO was unable to stop TORONTO from sending pucks towards the net, and TORONTO eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Devon Moir also scored for TORONTO. Other players who recorded assists for TORONTO were Breanne Grant, who had two and Rachel Bierbrier, Hannah Rastrick, Victoria Andreakos, Emma Korbs, Brooke Webster, and MacKenzie MacNeil, who contributed one a piece.

WATERLOO was led by Laura Baker, who tallied one goal and one assist. Baker scored 8:45 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Emma Leger assisted on the tally. WATERLOO also got a goal from Amber Sealey as well. More assists for WATERLOO came via Lindsay Dales, Hannah Davidson, and Marissa Ukos, who each chipped in one.

Maggie Prince rejected 16 shots on goal for TORONTO. TORONTO incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Stephanie Sluys recorded 36 saves for WATERLOO. WATERLOO incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
