TORONTO downs CAMBRIDGE in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Lauren Wildfang gave TORONTO a 4-3 (OT) victory over CAMBRIDGE when she scored 1:21 into the extra period.

CAMBRIDGE's power play was ineffective against TORONTO's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

TORONTO struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 26 penalty minutes for nine opposing power plays.

TORONTO also got points from Brooke Webster, who also registered one goal and one assist. Victoria Andreakos also scored for TORONTO. In addition, TORONTO received assists from Rachel Bierbrier, who had two and Emma Greco and Hannah Rastrick, who each chipped in one.

CAMBRIDGE was led by Marcie Landman, who tallied two goals. Landman scored the first of her two goals at 6:13 into the second period to make the score 2-1 CAMBRIDGE. Kaileigh Grant (A) picked up the assist. Landman's next tally made the score 3-3 with 11:08 left in the third period. Taytum Clairmont provided the assist. CAMBRIDGE also got a goal from Emma Woods as well. More assists for CAMBRIDGE came via Brooklyn Irwin and Alex Makaric, who contributed one a piece.

TORONTO took out Liberty McKague after she had made 16 saves and installed Maggie Prince in goal, where she finished with three saves and the win. TORONTO registered one goal on five power play opportunities. For TORONTO, Jessica Gazzola was ejected from the game. Jenna Sosnoski made 23 saves for CAMBRIDGE on 27 shots. CAMBRIDGE incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
