MISSISSAUGA holds on for 3-2 win against DURHAM WESTIceland Arena Sat, Jan 12, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
DURHAM WEST tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but MISSISSAUGA would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. A goal by Kristyn Capizzano put MISSISSAUGA up 3-0 in the second period, but DURHAM WEST pulled to within one on Dana Fairbarn's tally 17:55 into the third period. MISSISSAUGA kept DURHAM WEST's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kassidy Sauve made 34 saves on 37 shots. MISSISSAUGA was helped by Kaitlin Doering, who registered one goal. Doering scored 55 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 MISSISSAUGA. Kelly Mariani provided the assist. MISSISSAUGA also got a goal from Caitlyn Sadowy as well.
