BRAMPTON and OAKVILLE skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

OAKVILLE found itself down againt BRAMPTON, but battled back to secure to a 3-3 (OT) tie.

BRAMPTON's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three OAKVILLE power plays. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

BRAMPTON was helped by Candace Seguin, who registered one goal. Seguin scored 11:28 into the first period to make the score 2-0 BRAMPTON. Laura Magliocchi provided the assist. Taylor Sokay also scored for BRAMPTON. More assists for BRAMPTON came via Janet Deane, Alessia Pasquariello, Caitlyn Manning, Maizie Laking, and Veronica McInnis, who each chipped in one.

OAKVILLE's offense rang up 47 shots on BRAMPTON's net.

OAKVILLE was helped by Amanda Pereira, who tallied one goal. Pereira scored 12:46 into the first period to make the score 2-1 BRAMPTON. Hayley Scamurra picked up the assist. OAKVILLE also got points from Scamurra, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. OAKVILLE also got a goal from Heather Platt as well. Other players who recorded assists for OAKVILLE were Jessica Prevette, Kristin Gilmour, Savannah Newton, Heather Hood, and Lindsay Stenason, who contributed one a piece.

Brooke Stoddart made 44 saves for BRAMPTON on 47 shots. BRAMPTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Camille Leonard recorded 22 saves for OAKVILLE. OAKVILLE incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
