A stellar performance between the pipes by Laura Deller helped WATERLOO defeat BARRIE, 2-1.

WATERLOO's penalty kill excelled, as WATERLOO gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.

WATERLOO was paced by Lindsay Dales, who registered one goal. Dales scored 16:59 into the third period to make the score 2-1 WATERLOO. Amber Sealey picked up the assist.

Jade Gauthier also scored for WATERLOO. In addition, WATERLOO received assists from Hannah Davidson, who had one and Dollee Meigs, who had two.

WATERLOO was unable to stop BARRIE from sending pucks towards the net, and BARRIE eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

BARRIE was led by Alora Keers (A), who scored the team's only goal. Keers (A) scored 5:09 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Emma Chown provided the assist.

Deller recorded 30 saves for WATERLOO. WATERLOO incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Sarah Stephens made 22 saves for BARRIE on 24 shots. BARRIE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
