BURLINGTON downs LONDON, 4-1

Logan Boyd registered two points to lead BURLINGTON to a 4-1 victory over LONDON.

BURLINGTON stifled LONDON's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. LONDON was unable to stop BURLINGTON from sending pucks towards the net, and BURLINGTON eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.

BURLINGTON additionally got points from Mellissa Channell, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Maeve Garvey, who also had one goal and one assist. BURLINGTON also got a goal from Logan Land as well. In addition, BURLINGTON received assists from Christine Neatby and Tristyn Svetek, who each chipped in one.

LONDON could not produce up to it normal offensive output. LONDON puts an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game. Penalties took their toll on LONDON, as its penalty kill unit let in three power play goals. LONDON's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. LONDON averages 1.6 goal allowed per game.

LONDON was led by Brittany Howard, who scored the team's only goal. Howard scored 13:23 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Clare McKellar provided the assist.

Kyra OBrien made 19 saves for BURLINGTON on 20 shots. BURLINGTON incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jessica Dodds rejected 34 shots on goal for LONDON. LONDON incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
