DURHAM WEST took the lead against BRAMPTON in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 2-0 victory.

Alyssa Gee (PU) provided DURHAM WEST with the game-winning tally when she scored 14:58 into the the first period. SaraJane Pratt picked up the assist.

DURHAM WEST was led by Gee (PU), who racked up one goal and one assist.

DURHAM WEST's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three BRAMPTON power plays. DURHAM WEST forced BRAMPTON goalie Brooke Stoddart to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Taylor Edwards also scored for DURHAM WEST. More assists for DURHAM WEST came via Carly Marchment (C), who had one.

BRAMPTON stifled DURHAM WEST's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

DURHAM WEST's Jackie Rochefort stopped 16 shots out of the 16 that she faced. DURHAM WEST incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Brooke Stoddart made 33 saves for BRAMPTON on 35 shots. BRAMPTON incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
