Behind a great game by Kelly Mariani, who had two goals and one assist, MISSISSAUGA defeated BRAMPTON, 4-1.

Mariani found the back of the net 3:39 into the first period to make the score 2-0 MISSISSAUGA and again while 14:11 into the second to make the score 4-1 MISSISSAUGA.

MISSISSAUGA excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. MISSISSAUGA forced BRAMPTON goalie Brooke Stoddart to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

MISSISSAUGA additionally got points from Victoria Bach, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Cassandra Clayton also scored for MISSISSAUGA. More assists for MISSISSAUGA came via Hilary Lloyd, who had one and Jillian Skinner and Kristyn Capizzano, who contributed two a piece.

BRAMPTON could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

BRAMPTON was led by Caitlyn Manning, who scored the team's only goal. Manning scored 1:18 into the second period to make the score 3-1 MISSISSAUGA. Taylor Sokay picked up the assist.

MISSISSAUGA's Alysia DaSilva stopped 18 shots out of the 19 that she faced. MISSISSAUGA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Brooke Stoddart made 31 saves for BRAMPTON on 35 shots. For BRAMPTON, Candace Seguin was ejected from the game.
