Behind a great game by Kelly Mariani, who had two goals and one assist, MISSISSAUGA defeated BRAMPTON, 4-1. Mariani found the back of the net 3:39 into the first period to make the score 2-0 MISSISSAUGA and again while 14:11 into the second to make the score 4-1 MISSISSAUGA.MISSISSAUGA excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. MISSISSAUGA forced BRAMPTON goalie Brooke Stoddart to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots. MISSISSAUGA additionally got points from Victoria Bach, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Cassandra Clayton also scored for MISSISSAUGA. More assists for MISSISSAUGA came via Hilary Lloyd, who had one and Jillian Skinner and Kristyn Capizzano, who contributed two a piece.
