BARRIE failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and BLUEWATER shook off a number of penalties to win, 2-1.

BLUEWATER was paced by Brooke Hartwick, who registered one goal. Hartwick scored 17:52 into the third period to make the score 2-1 BLUEWATER. Stacey Henshaw assisted on the tally.

BLUEWATER's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as BLUEWATER finished with 24 penalty minutes.

BLUEWATER also got a goal from Karley Campbell as well. In addition, BLUEWATER received assists from Jessica Wakefield, Kaila Pinkney, and Shailyn Waites, who contributed one a piece.

BARRIE was led by Alex Bond, who scored the team's only goal. Bond scored 5:48 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Tara Morning provided the assist.

Brooke Gibson made 19 saves for BLUEWATER on 20 shots. BLUEWATER registered two goals on five power play opportunities. For BLUEWATER, Sydney Dobbin was ejected from the game. BARRIE's Sarah Stephens stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that she faced. BARRIE incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
