AURORA found itself down againt WHITBY, but battled back to secure to a 3-3 (OT) tie.

WHITBY's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three AURORA power plays. WHITBY forced AURORA goalie Paula Voorheis to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

WHITBY was helped by Krista Yip-Chuck, who had one goal and one assist. Yip-Chuck scored 5:10 into the first period to make the score 2-0 WHITBY. Hanna Bunton picked up the assist. WHITBY additionally got points from Bunton, who also finished with one goal and one assist. WHITBY also got a goal from Marie-Pierre Pelissou (A) as well.
