BURLINGTON survived a determined comeback attempt by LEASIDE on the way to a 2-1 win.

BURLINGTON took a 2-0 lead during the third period, only to have LEASIDE storm back on a Kaitlin Lowy goal 19:54 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

BURLINGTON was led by Kirsten Miller, who registered one goal. Miller scored 19:30 into the third period to make the score BURLINGTON.

BURLINGTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Taylor Accursi also scored for BURLINGTON. In addition, BURLINGTON received assists from Christine Neatby and Melissa Goodwin, who contributed one a piece.

LEASIDE stifled BURLINGTON's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
