Merulla leads Team Comcast (mm) over Washington Little Capitals (mm), 7-3

Behind a great game by Michael Merulla, who had two goals and three assists, Team Comcast (mm) defeated Washington Little Capitals (mm), 7-3.

Merulla found the back of the net 4:48 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Team Comcast (mm) and again while 16:33 into the third to make the score 7-3 Team Comcast (mm).

Washington Little Capitals (mm)'s power play was ineffective against Team Comcast (mm)'s penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Team Comcast (mm) made Washington Little Capitals (mm)'s goaltenders to work between the pipes, ripping 43 shots and forcing 36 saves. Todd Lemon made 10 stops and Kristofer Carlson made 26.
