Quad City blows out Tulsa, 3-0i-wireless Center Sat, Dec 22, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Tulsa Oilers had trouble finding ways to stop the Quad City Mallards, which beat Oilers, 3-0. Quad City was paced by Patrik Levesque, who had one goal and one assist. Tulsa failed to reach its usual level of shot production, putting 16 pucks on goal after averaging 22.5 shots per game this season. The Oilers were held below their usual level of production. Tulsa puts an average of 2.7 pucks into the net per game. The Oilers' defensemen bolstered Tulsa's offensive attack, as they bombarded Neil Conway with eight shots. The Oilers were led by Troy Ofukany, who took two shots. Conway rejected 16 shots on goal for the Mallards. Quad City incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Tulsa's Shane Madolora stopped 26 shots out of the 29 that he faced. The Oilers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
