Fort Worth survives Rapid City comeback, wins 2-1

Rapid City tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Fort Worth Brahmas would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 2-1.

Fort Worth took a 2-0 lead during the third period, only to have Rapid City storm back on a Rusty Masters goal 18:10 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

The Brahmas were led by Phil Fox, who tallied one goal. Fox scored 12:53 into the third period to make the score Fort Worth. Daniel Spivak provided the assist.

Fort Worth also got points from Tomas Klempa, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Fort Worth received assists from Sy Nutkevitch, who had one.

Rapid City's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Fort Worth power plays.

Other players who recorded assists for Rapid City were Kyle Peto and Jarrett Konkle, who each chipped in one.

Brad Fogal recorded 22 saves for Fort Worth. The Brahmas incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Rapid City's Tim Boron stopped 21 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Rapid City incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
