Kingsville wins tough contest against Alvinston, 4-2

The game between the Kingsville Comets and the Alvinston Flyers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Kingsville emerged with a 4-2 win.
No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Justin Parker at 11:27 of the third period.
Mark Fratarcangeli had a great game for the Comets, netting two goals. Fratarcangeli scored at 9:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kingsville and again while on the power play 3:27 into the second to make the score 2-2.
Kingsville also got a goal from Ryan Desjarlais as well. Other players who recorded assists for Kingsville were Connor Rennie, Kyle Morand, Ryan Jones, Steven Spada, Tyler Kirby, and Daniel Beaudion, who contributed one a piece.
Alvinston's offense rang up 32 shots on Kingsville's net.
The Flyers were helped by Karsten Berg, who registered one goal. Berg scored 15:41 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Alvinston. Joe Archer picked up the assist. Tyler Kettler also scored for Alvinston. More assists for Alvinston came via Matt Carroll and Chad Vaneyk, who each chipped in one.
Lane Parent recorded 30 saves for the Comets. Kingsville incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Alvinston's Brad Jacklin stopped 22 shots out of the 25 that he faced. The Flyers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
