East Coast Eagles completes comeback, beats Potomac Patriots, 4-3

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, East Coast Eagles battled back to claim a 4-3 victory over Potomac Patriots.

East Coast Eagles let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. East Coast Eagles took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Daniel Sabato at 14:27 in the first period. East Coast Eagles went down 3-1 after Potomac Patriots' Nicholas Gray put the puck home at 3:12 in the second period. After knotting things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Sabato at 15:23 in the third, East Coast Eagles got the game-winner from Connor Kaminski at 16:57 in the third period.

Kaminski had two goals to lead East Coast Eagles to victory.

East Coast Eagles kept Potomac Patriots' goalie busy throughout the game, and Dustyn Moyer made 28 saves on 32 shots. East Coast Eagles got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

East Coast Eagles also got points from Sabato, who also finished with two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. More assists for East Coast Eagles came via Samuel Banasiewicz, who had two and Edward Parsons, Ryan Sullivan, and Nathan Margets, who each chipped in one.

Potomac Patriots also got a goal from Andrew Turgeon as well. In addition, Potomac Patriots received assists from Nathan Marks, Matthew Wipper, Alexander Grose, Charles Rempe, and Temur Hannan, who contributed one a piece.

Bryan Canter rejected 27 shots on goal for East Coast Eagles. East Coast Eagles incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Potomac Patriots totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
