Mark McKey registered one point to lead the Georgina Ice to a 3-1 victory over the Uxbridge Bruins.

Georgina also got a goal from Devon Smith as well. In addition, Georgina received assists from AJ Killens, JD Leblond, Scott Sandercock, and Brandon Basler, who each chipped in one.

Uxbridge's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on eight Georgina power plays. The Bruins did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Uxbridge averages 4.1 goals per game. The Bruins could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 30 minutes in penalties during the game.

Uxbridge was led by Steve Doutsis, who scored the team's only goal. Doutsis scored on the power play 6:41 into the second period to make the score 1-1. The Bruins had gained a power play chance when Leblond was whistled for roughing. Matthew Allen picked up the assist.

Georgina ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major. The Ice ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Curtis Puhalski was ejected from the game. Uxbridge registered one goal on five power play opportunities. For the Bruins, Marco Mastrangelo was ejected from the game.
