The Uxbridge Bruins pulled out a 5-4 (OT) overtime victory over the Georgina Ice on a clutch goal by Shane Smith.

Uxbridge came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Bruins was down 3-1 after a goal by Georgina's Tanner Allen at 5:02 in the third period. Uxbridge knotted things up at 4-4 on a goal by Justin Bean at 18:41 in the third period.

The Bruins was paced on offense by Patrick Morgan and Smith, who combined for four points. Morgan racked up two goals and one assist and Smith also added one goal.

Uxbridge additionally got points from Bean, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Uxbridge also got a goal from Tim Bierema as well. More assists for Uxbridge came via Carter Vahey, who had one and Korey Brand, who had four.

The Ice were led by Dylan Kovacs, who registered two goals. Kovacs scored the first of his two goals at 4:22 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Georgina. Brandon Basler assisted on the tally. Kovacs' next tally made the score 4-3 Georgina with 2:48 left in the third period. Jesse Johnston picked up the assist. Jason Bianie also scored for Georgina. In addition, Georgina received assists from Mitch McLaughlin, who had one and Scott Sandercock, who had two.

Uxbridge incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Georgina incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
