Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Port Perry Mojacks defeated the Uxbridge Bruins in a shootout 2-1 (2-1 SO).

The two teams needed eight turns to complete the shootout. Uxbridge's shootout goal was scored by Mike Ramsey. Port Perry also got a shootout goal from Logan Evans.

The Mojacks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Port Perry was led by Matt Johnston, who racked up one goal. Johnston scored 6:53 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Perry. Brody Anderson assisted on the tally.

The Bruins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Port Perry power plays. Uxbridge could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Bruins average 4.3 goals per game.

Uxbridge was led by Joey Vocino, who scored the team's only goal. Vocino scored 15:59 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Callum Lynch picked up the assist.

The Mojacks incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Bruins incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
