The Georgina Ice's Tanner Allen scored 2:52 into overtime to beat the Port Perry Mojacks, 4-3 (OT).

Georgina overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Ice trailed 3-1 after a goal by Port Perry's Logan Evans at 14:50 in the second period. Georgina tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by AJ Killens at 2:08 in the third period.

Allen was all over the ice for the Ice, as he finished with two goals in the win.

Georgina excelled on the penalty kill, only allowing the Mojacks to get one power play goal on 19 chances.

Scott Sandercock also scored for Georgina. Other players who recorded assists for Georgina were Mark McKey, Dylan Kovacs, JD Leblond, Vito Jessop, JP Contento, and Brandon Basler, who each chipped in one.

Port Perry put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Ice to score on any of their three power plays. Georgina was unable to stop the Mojacks from sending pucks towards the net, and Port Perry eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.

Port Perry also got a goal from Joe Lamanna as well. More assists for Port Perry came via Anders Neilsen, who had two and Matt Paul and Mike Grifoni, who contributed one a piece.

Michael Chilvers made 35 saves for the Ice on 38 shots. Georgina incurred 56 minutes in penalty time with 13 minors. For the Ice, Jesse Johnston and Curtis Puhalski were ejected from the contest. Drew Siydock recorded 11 saves for the Mojacks. Port Perry incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
