Behind a great game by Steve Doutsis, who had two goals, the Uxbridge Bruins defeated the Clarington Eagles, 6-3.

Doutsis scored at 17:52 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Uxbridge and again while 3:55 into the second to make the score 3-1 Uxbridge.

Uxbridge also got points from Marco Mastrangelo, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Billy McBeth also scored for Uxbridge. More assists for Uxbridge came via Matthew Allen, who had two and Callum Lynch, Shane Smith, and Justin Bean, who contributed one a piece.

Clarington was led by Brad Down, who finished with one goal. Down scored 15 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Clarington. Luke Garneau picked up the assist. Clarington also got a goal from Dylan Howorko as well. Other players who recorded assists for Clarington were Brett Brown and Dan Michel, who each chipped in one.

Brandon Francey made 23 saves for Uxbridge on 26 shots. The Bruins incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Eagles' starting goalie, Nick Keleher, made 11 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Josh Cole APM, who stopped five shots. Clarington incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors and had no power play opportunities. The Eagles ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brandon Hesson was ejected from the game.
